I applied and heard around a month later from HR. I set up an interview a week after that with HR. This interview seemed to go very well and I was told this was a new position and I had a lot of the experience they were looking for. I thought we got along pretty well. I was going to hear within a week or so about the potential next round with the CRO. I emailed about 1-2 weeks later to find out status and never received an answer and in fact didn’t ever hear a word back. This was my first real reality check that companies just don’t even bother these days in the current job market. It’s not as bad as if I had gone to other levels but applicants do deserve some feedback.
