Interview
I applied as a new grad for a staff nurse position in one of the specialty units at West Penn Hospital. Phone interview first with a member of HR team. Asked general questions about background, strengths, weaknesses, experience, why Allegheny Health, why I was interested in working in the unit to which I applied....very standard interview questions
After that, I was asked to come for an in person interview with the unit director. i was asked to wear scrubs so that I could shadow in the unit for a few hours.
I got a call the day after my in person interview offering me the job. From application to accepting the position was 2 weeks.
