I had an initial phone screen with the hiring manager. Just a general call to learn more about the role and expectations. That was followed by a second phone screen with another program manager. Again general questions about my experience and I got to ask about work/culture at AI2. About 1 week after the phone screen, I was invited to an on-site interview. As I lived outside of Seattle, they flew me in. On-site interview consisted of 6 1 hours interviews with different engineers, technical managers, and research managers. Questions tended to focus primarily on communication style, project planning, and prioritization. After the the interview had an opportunity to get dinner with the team and learn more about the culture and work at AI2. About a week after the on-site, I had skype call with the CEO, where I learned more about the vision and future of project I was applying for. Finally, had a final call with the COO about 1 month later. Total time was about 4 months. Overall great experience. Everyone was very nice, accommodating and excited about the work they do and the company as a whole.
