Pretty easy hiring process. Was contacted by a recruiter and provided my resume. Interviewed with one agent and he was not hiring at the time so he sent me to another agent that was hiring. Went to the interview with the owner of the agency. Was about 30 minutes

Before the in person interview, a competency exam was taken online with further questions.

Interview
The interview was very casual and I got to admit I was skeptical working in insurance again after working with another agent with another insurance company since I was required to cold call all day. It does range from each agent and what they make you do. If they are an established agent with customers calling in for quotes then you won't be doing much cold calling. Half of my day is service and the other half is quoting.
