I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Allstate (Michigan City, IN) in Jan 2015
Interview
Only had to interview with one person and only lasted approx 30 min. There was a customer service survey upon applying. Was asked approx 10-15 questions about myself and my past employment.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Columbia, MO) in Nov 2021
Interview
Applied in October, received a call in November. The lady that was interviewing me made it very apparent, upon walking in the office, that she was not interested before I even said a word. I was dressed in business casual attire and am a black woman. She was more interested in discussing her commute from Booneville than asking me questions.
I received a call stating that my resume fit the role. I was told that there are several other candidates. The problem was that the actual role was for a sales position which I was not interested in, yet the posted job description was not for sales, it was for an office manager.
I feel I wasted the hiring manager's and his follow up person's time as well as my time was wasted in applying.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Allstate (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2017
Interview
Pretty good, a few interviews in person with online assignments. Staff very helpful, friendly and understanding- interview could be long and tedious with you being asked about certain scenarios and how you will act in such and such situation.
