I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Columbia, SC) in Oct 2011
Interview
The interview was behavioral based.. All questions lead with tell me about a time when..there were two persons that gave interviewed me and they took turns asking question but the interview was laid back. The entire interview took approx an hr and then I was introduced the guy that runs the office, which he just explained the job responsibilities of a claims adjuster and wanted to know if I was interested in the position
Very thorough, but friendly. They do ask the common interview questions using the STAR method and then go through the job responsibilities and training schedule. They answered any questions you may have that were not apparent in the job listing.
Too many interviewers on Zoom to focus on questions being asked and who was asking. Very distracting from the whole interview process. I wish they gave an interview rating or a reason as to why I was not chosen
