I interviewed for the Product Specialist role at AlphaSense. The interview itself was very short (around 5 minutes), as I was told immediately that I wasn’t a fit due to not having enough B2B experience and B2C experience is not relevant. While I understand that companies have specific requirements (during the interview they insisted that candidates must have B2B experience), this wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the job description. If B2B experience is so essential for the role, it would be helpful for candidates if that was made clear upfront.
