I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSense in Jan 2026
Interview
AlphaSense has supportive managers — my potential hiring manager was accommodating and promised strong onboarding despite my lack of domain experience.
But the final round was poorly run: questions were repeated, the interviewer seemed disengaged, and it felt like a box-ticking exercise. Even worse, I requested feedback as promised in their email and received nothing.
Great people and early support, but the final interview process and candidate follow-up need serious improvement.
30mins with HR, 45mins with member of the team, followed by hiring manager, a case study, and call with a colleague in the US. They said they were looking to move quickly with applications.
It was a fairly standard process but it seems very regimented - ie, they have a list of specific questions that they ask you, conversation does not seem to flow. Received a generic rejection email a few days after the second round, disappointing to not have had any feedback.
