It started with a quick call with the recruiter, who was very nice and helpful. That part was the positive aspect. From there, I was assigned a project to complete, and then had a 75-minute interview with 2 people. This is where things went downhill. I not only had to explain the assignment, with very minimal background understanding, but then had to do a "mock interview" which I was not prepared for at all.
The 2 people interviewing me were nice enough, but they used so many corporate "buzz words" that I truly did not always understand the question being asked. It was honestly distracting and off-putting.
The biggest red flag was asking me my current managers first and last name, without any context.. When I hesitated and said that my current manager does not know I am leaving I was told "OK, I got what I need, let's just leave it there".. So weird. I've done many interviews and unless it's for a reference, I have never been asked this..
