I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Feb 2026
Interview
New York office- initial AI screening. 1st round with a recruiter doing behaviorals. 2nd round with a manager doing different technical components, such as a mock call and case breakdown; this part was actually pretty fun, and they give you materials to prepare beforehand, as well as a take-home case to be completed before the interview. 3rd round with a manager, all behaviorals. Definitely know the details of what you're talking about because they will ask you follow-up questions. I think because it's such a niche position, they're really looking for people who fit and not just those looking for a placeholder role. Overall kind people and were very quick in letting me know if I advanced in the interview process.

Role a play a scenario based on the case study you're given.
Stay away. Realized how much of a scam it is as I went through- ended on my own accord after final round. There will be no exit opportunities with this company whatsoever. You will be stuck. Know some friends who have worked here and regret every second of it.
