After submitting the application with my resume, I was asked to do a video assessment. I was asked 5 questions with 30 seconds in between to prepare. You got 60 seconds maximum to answer each question. Then, I was asked to do a Skype interview with their recruiter. Very typical interview questions, just a 1 on 1 conversation to get to know you better. Then was invited for an on site interview. There were two interviews on the on-site. First, I was asked by two employees of Alphasights, one being the manager for the SEI team, to introduce myself and then do an exercise. They gave me a computer with no guidance and told me to find 2 departing executives from one of three industry areas of my choice in 15 minutes. When they returned, I presented the two executives to them and the process I used to find them. Then, I was asked some more standard questions. Mainly, they were looking to learn more specifically about my work experiences and how they can apply to the position at Alphasights. In the second interview, I met with a VP at Alphasights, who asked almost the same questions as the first two employees, which was fine, but could have had more coordination there so there was no repetition. Overall, make sure to know a lot about how the company works, as it will help you to connect your resume to the position you will be in. Very enjoyable process, very pleasant people to talk to.
