Sent in resume and application online. Within 24-48 received an email asking me to partake in a video assessment and was given 7 days to complete said task. This was composed of 4 questions asking me about AlphaSights and my interests in the company. (The questions can readily be found on this website - and are helpful in preparing for the interview.) Overall, I did not find it too difficult, but you are only given 30 seconds to think about your answer and a minute to answer it, so if you aren't too good at ad libbing or thinking on your feet, try to outline the answers before hand and know what you want to say (since it is video recorded and you can't look down the whole time). Screening was a video interview for first round, simple and straightforward. Followed with a 30 minute call for second round with someone from HR a week later. Questions started off open ended - “tell me about yourself.” Then moved into questions such as “strengths and weaknesses” and “how would you facilitate an alpha sights phone call.”
