I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AlphaSights in May 2017
Interview
After getting through the application section including two short answer questions about how the job would help me achieve my short term goals and about the nature of my greatest achievement, I was contacted by their lovely recruiter for a quick chat before setting up a video interview. I found the 50-min interview quite difficult, having poorly prepared for personal reasons, however with better preparation I think it would have been quite straightforward. I should note that the interviewer was quite nice but very firm and straight to the point, unsurprisingly, she knew very well how to direct the interview in the direction she wanted and left very small room for manoeuvring. I failed to get past this stage and I got some detailed feedback on what I did wrong the following week, which I found very helpful.
