All I made it to was the one-way interview, which in itself is fine. My negative experience lies in the fact that they are not willing to provide feedback on the one-way interview. I understand it is an early hurdle and used as such, there will be a lot of them, which is great but once you progressed past the resume and have contact, professional courtesy should exist between applicant and company, which includes feedback. One-way interviews are growing in popularity and it really would be the opportunity to AlphaSights to set themselves apart from the rest, by providing that feedback. The interview questions themselves proved to me that AlphaSights and I are not a fit, my impression of the questions did not align with the culture and impression from their website, so I was hoping they would provide feedback and prove me wrong.
Easy and transparent with steps and timeline. Took about 2 weeks from start to offer but flexible with timing of interviews, you make times mostly, with final round as exception
questions about resume and applicability to the role, also asked what other roles i’m recruiting for. didn’t get a second interview but i wasn’t too enthusiastic —- wish I’d rehearsed my answers to why Alphasights before
I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (San Francisco, CA)
