I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Hong Kong)
Interview
1st round: Online questions after application. Computerised questions with time limit to think and answer. Questions such as: describe alphasights, how would you convince someone to do something they didnt want to do, if you could have a super power what would it be, what is something interesting about you that is not on your CV.
2nd round: In office interview. They email you with material to prep. with - mainly about Alphasights and the BREAD process. Will ask questions about you and your experiences (CV).
3rd round: Case study, followed my behavioural questions with a higher manager or senior. In case study you will choose 2 case studies from 3 and you have 15 minutes to find 2 advisors for each case study. This round is obviously to get an understanding of your thinking and logical processes. Next interview is mainly behavioural questions to gain and understanding of you and your motivations. Typical questions such as what is your greatest achievement, what do you regret, why study this, what did you like and dislike about previous work experience, when did something not go your way or was difficult, etc.
A recruiter reached out after my application on Handshake. The first round interview was behavioral - asking questions about myself, my background, why I wanted to be on Client Services as opposed to consulting. Also asked on my understanding of the role
Easy scheduling, recruiter helped with questions I had. Able to freely schedule my interviews. There was a few interviews, some short some long. Didn’t take too long to receive offer.
3 Rounds, mainly behavioral, not too hard if you prepare well and study and do calls with recruiters. Know what the BREAD process is and what AS does. Second round interview is hardest so practice before hand. Final round just a chat.
