I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter to apply for this position.
Process was simple submit my resume and apply and was responded to submit a one way video interview screening.
The process was pretty simple but I made a mistake of not checking on here to see the types of questions asked.
The interview is short... only 3 questions. You are able to take a practice interview to make sure everything is working.
One issue though is you have 30 seconds to prepare during the practice interview and the questions are very typical however in the actual interview you have 15 seconds and some of the questions felt sort of irrelevant and awkward to answer.
I was later contacted that I would not be moving forward with the hiring process.
Overall, it was an easy process but something I could have better prepared myself for.
The initial interview is more of a test to see how quickly you can respond with something they want to hear rather than learning what you can contribute or what makes you really stand out.

Question 1
If you had a free Saturday how would you spend it?
The management consulting interview process typically involves multiple rounds, starting with screening calls, followed by case studies, and behavioral interviews, focusing on problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and cultural fit. It was more on the behavioural and cultural fit as opposed to the technical aspects.
Behavioral-based interview that is quite common among other firms. Really know why you want to be a part of the firm. Gave a video to watch and asked questions regarding that as well.
There are 3 rounds of interviews, 2 behavioral, 1 "case". First two rounds are easy but last round was an hour long of only behavioral questions. Overall not too bad but just very long
