I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Nov 2013
Interview
Submitted CV and cover letter through careers site, was invited to take a video interview within a couple of weeks. Interview was very brief + relatively straightforward, questions based on what the company did and why I would be suitable for the role. You are only allowed 60 seconds for each answer so it felt quite rushed. I was rejected after this stage.
The interview consisted of going through a business case about an expert in a certain sector and how one would approach the conversation with said expert. Mimicking an outbound call to an expert.

Interview
They use a online video recording software to do the interview. Nothing special about the questions: introduce yourself, what are you passionate about, etc... The most difficult thing would be get used to talking to your computer and manage to say all you want to say in time.
