I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Jun 2020
Interview
1. Video Interview
2. Interview with Hiring Manager
3. Case Study Interview
4. Interview with a VP
All in all very thorough interview process, the hiring manager asked me about specific gaps in my professional experience on my resume and asked what I did instead and about other jobs I was interviewing for
The management consulting interview process typically involves multiple rounds, starting with screening calls, followed by case studies, and behavioral interviews, focusing on problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and cultural fit. It was more on the behavioural and cultural fit as opposed to the technical aspects.
Behavioral-based interview that is quite common among other firms. Really know why you want to be a part of the firm. Gave a video to watch and asked questions regarding that as well.
There are 3 rounds of interviews, 2 behavioral, 1 "case". First two rounds are easy but last round was an hour long of only behavioral questions. Overall not too bad but just very long
