I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Oct 2020
Interview
Video interview, HR interview, case study, and final interviews. All of the interviews were great experiences except for the final one. The final interview were all questions about your negative experiences and weaknesses. It just felt like they wanted to hear you do bad.
The management consulting interview process typically involves multiple rounds, starting with screening calls, followed by case studies, and behavioral interviews, focusing on problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and cultural fit. It was more on the behavioural and cultural fit as opposed to the technical aspects.
Behavioral-based interview that is quite common among other firms. Really know why you want to be a part of the firm. Gave a video to watch and asked questions regarding that as well.
There are 3 rounds of interviews, 2 behavioral, 1 "case". First two rounds are easy but last round was an hour long of only behavioral questions. Overall not too bad but just very long
