I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Seoul) in Sep 2024
Interview
1st Round Interview (Video)
The interviewer was very warm and friendly. The interview was conducted in both languages. In the first round, the questions were fairly general, focusing on professional and academic work experience. While the questions are broad, it’s important to be prepared to explain what you learned from those experiences—being logical and reflective in your answers seems key. I believe they are looking for candidates who can self-reflect and demonstrate growth.

Three rounds - first round general competency, second round case study and phone call role play, third round an hour long competency and experience interview with a VP. I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
Coffee chat with Alphasights recruiter
One to one interview with recruiter - regular STAR questions, ended up asking about my proficiency in a third language I spoke even though that wasn't what I was recruited for
Interview with VP(?)
3-4 stages, last stage was really unexpected a far more intense behavioural and background interview, wasn't really given any materials from the company. However HR was super helpful whenever I reached out.
