I was in the last round and delivered a very well presentation about my expertise, my understanding for the company & clients needs and for the market as well.
The feedback has been great at every stage included during the the presentation.
I had a couple of minutes to feedback with the hiring manager left and was getting told there are two option for me at this point, that the hiring manger would send a recommendation to the director and he will sign my contract offer or that I will get invited to virtually see the director for a quick chat and introduce myself personally and I will receive my contract offer after that last meet.
After I heard nothing back at all from the hiring manager or the company I texted the hiring manager via LinkedIn with no response, than I send a mail to the TA and the response was a generic pre written rejection to my application.
My word to recruiters and everyone involved in hiring processes: This is not a one way rode guys, applicants are not the only ones who have to convince, company do have a reputation too and are at least responsible for the people who are leaving stains on their reputation.
