I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon in Apr 2020
Interview
HR reached me out through Linkedln and we had a 30 mins phone interview. It was mostly about my previous experiences and the role.
After the phone interview they sent me a link to do the coding assignment. I couldn't complete the coding assignment on time so I couldn't pass to the next step. Coding questions are almost the same as the ones they ask to Software Developers, so it requires a good algorithm, data structure and coding skills.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I cannot write the questions because of NDA but I can say that be prepared, if you really want a job in Amazon start preparing before months. Don't trust the abilities of the IDE you use, learn the basics, because the online editor they use doesn't support everything.
The hiring process was getting rescheduled every week and I didn't get the opportunity to get interviewed by amazon, though I cleared the coding round.
The amazon should rethink the hiring process and should give a fixed date for interview
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Amazon (Tumakuru) in May 2026
Interview
The interview started with introduction of the interviewer and then asked about me. Then moved on to my Projects. Had small discussion on the projects. Later he gave a DSA problem of DP. Which I solved using Recursion but coundn't solve using DP.
5 rounds of interviews. Out of 5, 3 were technical. Mostly asked for medium leetcode style problems. Other round asked for different testing scenarios and one round with HR. Each round nearly takes an hour to be completed
