- Brief phone screen with recruiter - Follow up interview with senior member of team. They'll reference the STAR method quite often and their leadership principles. The overall interview process could have been better. The interviewer was typing notes very loudly while I was giving my responses, which was very distracting. I couldn't hear myself talk over their loud keyboard. Otherwise, they frame their questions so that you have to answer using the STAR method. When asking what the next steps are, the response I got was: "This is a question for your recruiter." That was quite unfortunate because I asked the recruiter that same question before the phone interview and they told me that I should worry about a phone interview first before asking what the steps are. I've also asked for feedback if they can give any, but the interviewer rudely cut me off and said they cannot due to company policy. The rejection email was sent 4 hours after the phone interview and also reiterated that they cannot give feedback.
