I had several technical interviews for a senior role; in praticular, after 5 technical interviews and written excecise (so image how much time i spent following this recruitment process), there was no feedback from the company; moreover, the same position was posted to other locations along the time (during and sfter my interview dates); all of these make me the idea there are no senior positions open cause the recruiting process(so 5, 6, 7 and even more interviews) are intended to get info, ideas, strategy, resolution problem approach from senior profiles, i.e. passively acquire experience from candidate.....if it is that, then....what a genius right!? Actually all the interviews were only based on knowing how you solved a critical situation, which choice you made in a particulr situation etc.....all happened along your career. My suggestion for senior applicants? if you have time to spend, then you can try to succeed in one of teh thousands open (??) positions on line but most probably you will face the same, i.e. sharing your experiences, story and never getting a job offer or even a feedback on your recruitment paninfull (cause after 5 technical interview and written excercise, i can call it "a pain")
