Interview
The interview typically involves a phone interview plus the Loop (5 rounds) if the phone interview is successful. The majority of questions are on Leadership Principles unless it's a technical role. Unfortunately, so far I have been invited for three different roles. Amazon operates based on first come first serve meaning the faster you get through rounds of interviews more likely you get an offer. They don't invite a pool of candidates and shortlist them as they progress. My last interview was quite a painful one, I was invite for a phone interview with the hiring manager straight. After two weeks of preparation and stress as soon as I joined the call the hiring manager told me I had already filled out this role and didn't need me. I believe this is more of a poor individual behavior as my other interviews (more than 10 rounds) were quite respectful and mutual. However, the interview process of the company contributes to this poor behavior. I felt quite disrespected and extremely disappointed

Excellent process. They tested on almost 11 LPs. I made it to the final round. Every interviewer was given 2 LP's to test me on. I had to prepare, prepare, prepare, to the point of memorizing some of the answers so I dont forget.

Recruiter, Hiring Manager, Writing Assessment and Loop. Not too difficult, just need to make sure you prepare beforehand. Have examples in the STAR method for responding to the questions asked. There are lots of videos online to prepare for Amazonian interviews. If you study those, you'll be fine.
