I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Salt Lake City, UT) in Jun 2022
Interview
It was pretty much what you'd expect. The person I had working with me was very good about helping me with the expectations. I had 5 back to back interviews which were all pretty rigorous. Each interview had a "Personal" and a "Coding" portion. The personal portion was a lot about who I am and my experience. If you aren't nervous and you actually have some experience you'll do fine on that side of things. If you don't have experience I'd recommend being honest about it. The coding portion was just a few coding problems. If you are okay with leet code you should be fine. The problems were not terribly hard or complex they were just cumbersome because I had to use a terrible text editor in the browser. I'd practice doing a few questions in google docs or word before the interview. I didn't get an offer because I botched one of the coding portions.
