I applied for the QAE Engineer position through the company's website on early April 2026. In mid of April, HR contacted me via WhatsApp to arrange a screening call for the following day. The screening call went well and after 1 day I received an email inviting me to an online interview on the next week. The online interview lasted about 40 minutes and also went well. I was genuinely interested in the role and the company. At the end of the interview, the interviewer informed me that HR would contact me if I was shortlisted for the second interview, and I understood the process. After one week, I followed up with HR via WhatsApp to ask about the status of my application. She replied that the interview process was still ongoing. I waited another week and followed up again, but I never received a response. More than a month later, I noticed that the same position had been reposted on LinkedIn. I felt disappointed and frustrated by the lack of communication. Even if I was not selected to proceed to the second interview, I believe candidates deserve a simple update or rejection email instead of being left without any response. Clear communication reflects professionalism and respect for candidates' time and effort. Seeing the position reposted made me wonder what the company was actually looking for. I believe many candidates are capable of learning, adapting, and performing well if they are given the opportunity.
