I applied online. I interviewed at Amedisys (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2021
Interview
It was in person with one manager but on the phone with the district manager who was distracted by driving, which made it awkward. I was asked how I would feel working with people who had a more broad knowledge base than I do about the industry, and I did not see how that was relevant, I expected that going in.

Question 1
If I would be able to cope with the immense losses I'd experience in hospice.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Amedisys (Portland, OR) in Apr 2026
Interview
Upon receiving a call for a telephone interview, I was immediately advised that the position had been filled. It would have been helpful to know this position had been filled beforehand as I carved time out of my busy day for a telephone interview. I suspect they had an internal candidate queued up to hire and needed to check some boxes of interviewing external candidates. Whatever the reason, not cool. I won't apply to this company again.
The interview process is multi layered, seems organized so far. I am currently awaiting offer. I have been given several opportunities to ask any question I may have. Hopefully the onboarding process will be as organized as the interview has been.

Question 1
Reason for job change and why I am interested in Amedysis
The interview was performed on a virtual platform. The interview was a bit chaotic and disorganized. Presented as a one-on-one but ended up being a panel. One interview and then an offer came.
