Didn't realize the practice visit/interest meeting we scheduled was also an interview until the end when they gave me an offer. They were short staffed on ODs in the area and it seemed as though they would take anyone with a license. I was barely asked any of the typical interview questions and I never even gave them my resume. However, the people involved in the interview were all extremely kind and gave a lot of information on the company.

Very casual, will ask about your location preferences and availability. The interviewers appreciate honesty. I was very specific about salary requirements and they were accommodating. Be prepared to accommodate for location.

Interview
After submitting my information, I spoke with the hiring manager first and then met with the district manager (optometrist) and regional manager (non-optometrist) in-person. I was able to tour one of the retail locations and have a conversation with both managers to ask questions.

Interview
Online virtual office tour with interview. Showed me around the office and allowed me to meet staff and on site personnel. Was a nice introduction to the practice and good way to get a sense of the environment in which I would be working.
