This is a multi-step interview process, and everyone's timeline is a little different. I applied and completed the Personality Assessment in early December, completed my Video Interview on 12/29, and received my F2F Invitation via e-mail on 1/26. I attended the F2F in mid-February, and accepted my CJO at the conclusion of the interview. There has already been so much information shared about the interview process, and my experience was very similar to all of the other reviews I have read. I will only summarize the F2F portion of the interview, as the VI questions have been posted many times. First and foremost, the shuttle that will pick you up at DFW is downstairs. I feel like they should add this to the instructions! Upon arriving at the Training Facility, I sat in a lobby and chatted with the other interviewees before a recruiter greeted us and gave us a brief tour on the way to the interview room. Here's what will happen in the interview room: 1) Video presentation about AA 2) "Who's Who" Game 3) Group Interview in smaller groups 4) PowerPoint presentation on benefits and what to expect as a new hire 5) Q&A Session 6) "Resume Review" where each person is pulled out one at a time Here are the most important tips I can give you... 1) Follow Instructions!!! You will be given detailed instructions during every step of the interview - listen to them and follow them. 2) Be engaged and friendly all day, with absolutely everyone you meet. Remember names. Don't use foul language or even think about pulling out your phone at the interview table. Smile a lot!! :) :) :) 3) This may be uncommon advice, but I recommend having some answers prepared to the questions you KNOW are coming, such as "Why do you want to be a flight attendant?" No, you don't want to sound rehearsed, but I think it's worse to not be prepared. Plus you will be nervous, so it's nice to have an answer to fall back on. 4) Like most people, I worried about looking the part. I wore the very typical black skirt suit, white button down, black tights, chunky black heels, red lips, red nails, watch. I was surprised that I was reallllyy in the minority of people who went with this look - lots of pant suits, not a lot of red lips! So just dress professionally, and for the love of all things holy, cover your tattoos! At the conclusion of the interview process, I was taken to a separate room with a Senior Recruiter where I was asked a few more customer service questions, asked about tattoos & piercings, and was then offered a CJO! I immediately did jumpseat & reach tests, provided a urine sample for drug testing, and filled out paperwork for background checks. Then, there were hugs all around and I headed back to the airport!
