Completed my assessment same day of applying, got invited for a video interview a week later. The video interview was 6 questions, two of which were to be answered in my second language. Heard back two months later (early April) that I was invited for a face to face in Fort Worth for May 10th. Round trip flight was complementary and honestly traveling was part of the fun. I got there about two hours prior to the interview at the AA conference & training center, and met a few of my fellow interviewees. All of which were amazing and friendly people who I hope to see at training (should I be hired). We talked and exchanged instagrams, numbers, snapchats, etc.. and discussed what we were anticipating for the interview. About 32 people showed up and finally we were taken to a room where we signed in and took our seats, 8 at a table. The first part of the interview was a worksheet where we ranked questions on customer service importance between 1 and 5, and explained our reasoning. Very simple, but be sure to keep in mind that the most important thing when answering is that the customer always comes first. Second, we had the group interview which I’m sure you’ve read about on here previously. Large sheet of paper, circle, fill in three similar characteristics we all have and outside write something unique about each of us. What they are looking for is the people who stand out, who are leaders, and who have a prevalent voice in a hasty situation. You present the sheet, and truly it is a good time. Relax and have fun. If you got invited to the f2f, you have already accomplished so much. Third, group interview. 5 in a room, two recruiters. 2 questions answered by everyone, and one random card question. Do not overthink it. Understand that everyone else needs to answer as well and they do not want to hear a drawn out answer from you. Lastly, I was taken to another room for one on one, where they asked a few simple questions regarding why you want to work for AA, if you have tattoos/piercings, and if you have any questions. Then I was taken to a separate room for reach test, jumpstart test, and photos of me with my passport. Do not be afraid if they don’t fingerprint or drug test- all training spots are filled for this year and they would have expired by the time you will start training. So if you get the CJO expect to be back to complete those things. I am waiting to hear back, it has been 4 days since my f2f and I am confident that they liked me.
