      Reservation Representative Interview

      Jan 15, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Winston-Salem, NC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines (Winston-Salem, NC) in Jan 2020

      Interview

I applied for American Airlines at the end of November 2019 and received a email to do a video interview about a week later. I did the video interview it had 6 questions that were pretty easy. After that another week later I received an email asking to come in for the codes test and for a face to face interview and to pick a date between January 7th-8th from 9am-12pm. They also sent me a study guide for the test. The day of the interview came and I walked in and they walked me and a few others Into a classroom setting to take the test. It was about 25 people in there. I finished the test within 5 minutes. It was super easy for me but you HAVE to study or you won’t pass. So when everyone was done with the test she called about 15 people up to leave the room and the remaining of us are the ones who passed. I was one. Then they went over the job and benefits and what we would be doing. They then took us in sections for the group interview. I had 2 others with me and they asked 6 scenario questions and I was offered the job!

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Ciudad de Mexico) in Sep 2022

      Interview

Long and a waste of time. It's a 6 hour interview, there is nothing fun about it. The ppt they use are like from the 90's and first it's the presentation of the company, after that you would be ask if you want to continue. Then a video interview, then a psychometric test, HTP which is very common and not useful. Last you get to have an oral interview and then a background check that could go very good or bad, either way the process for the position for a very low salary is not worth it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?, and this is just one of the worst questions you get to answer to the HR team.
