      Flight Attendant Interview

      Mar 5, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Dallas, TX
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2020

      Interview

After successful video interview I was invited to group interview. During group, they showed us videos. The day was informative. The facilitators were friendly. However there was always someone watching and taking notes. We had to submit a hand written survey on what were our priorities for the interview day, and why. We had to rank and describe what we did to prepare: 1-researched company 2-researched company mission statement, values, 3-shopped for an outfit, & 4-got a good night sleep. After videos, we did a group interview. Questions were the same as others I’ve seen posted on this site. We did the teamwork block exercise, while people were watching and taking notes ... it was creepy. After the group exercise they asked questions and every one had to answer one question. It was kind of awkward answering interview questions that should have been in 1-on-1 environment in a group. After the group interview, we watched more videos. Then they called everybody out one-by-one. Some were escorted to the door,’while an friendly, informative flight attendant answered questions, and some were asked additional questions and asked to do a “reach test”. We were told we would hear from them in 5-10 days, and that successful candidates would be placed in training Fall 2020.
