      Executive Assistant Interview

      Apr 5, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Miami, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at American Airlines (Miami, FL) in Apr 2018

      Interview

The process was not a transparent one and I figured that I would not receive an offer from AA. It was a shame that for a group interview they chose to send a one person panel to conduct the interview. Hence, the process was open to interviewer's biases based on several factors. Miami is known for preferential treatment towards a certain group. Therefore, efforts should have been made to have an interview panel that was more diverse instead of one person from the said preferential group so as not to appear biased. Hopefully, AA will make more effort in the future to be more proactive in ensuring that a group interview has more than one person on the interview panel.
