The interview process for Communications Coordinator was disorganized and haphazard. I'm not even sure if they have an HR department because I never spoke with anyone outside of the Communications department. For example, I was initially contacted by an intern for a phone interview. Then when I went in for an interview at the office, the person who I had been scheduled to meet with was not there. Instead, I interviewed on a panel with five people who asked me very different questions than the department head. The five people who interviewed me emphasized long work hours and lack of work-life balance while stressing that I was interviewing for a low-level entry position. Then they went on to stress how the person in this entry-level position needed to have experience in project management, conflict resolution, social media, graphic design, web skills, and be fluent in a language other than English. Then after the interview, I never heard back from anyone even after emailing several people to follow up.
