I sent an email to the intern coordinator asking about opportunities and complimenting a recent public affairs campaign. She emailed back asking about my experience and we emailed briefly. I was invited for a quick interview and got a summer internship. It was a lot of fun and a great work environment. Wish they had more funding though.

One virtual behavioral interview. It was on zoom and very straightforward. It took about 2 weeks to get a response. Unfortunately, I did not move forward in the process. I think they were looking for people with more experience.

Why ACLU? What experiences do you have that relate to the role?
I had a really pleasant and overall interview experience. One round with two staff attorneys. Asked straight forward questions about my experience, interest, and work. I received an offer about a month after.
