Interview
It was cold and clinical. I left feeling disappointed, as if my personality didn't get a chance to shine through. It felt as if they'd already made up their minds they didn't want to be there.
I applied online. I interviewed at American Civil Liberties Union
Interview
One of my least favorite interview processes ever. The questions are impersonal and your answers are scored on a rubric. I understand and commend the effort to be inclusive but the overall effect is that you feel like you are talking to robots. No questions about my specific resume or experience, and I didn't get a real feel for anyone's personality or work style. It was long and drawn out, and you have to beg for an update (although everyone I corresponded with was friendly). The process needs a big overhaul!
The questions themselves are pretty standard and the writing assignment is fair and interesting. But no one will ask you about the assignment.
