It took 6 months but hiring manager was clear about the steps and where I was in the process, and I believe it was 2-3 months before they reached out to me. Now that I work here, I think this is not out of the ordinary. There is a long, slow, deliberate process to hiring. In the end, I'd say it was worth it.

How do you demonstrate your commitment to ACLU values in your current work?
Straightforward with multiple interview rounds asking about experience and connecting with different stakeholders. This was a unique case because it was for a newly formed role so there was some iteration throughout. It was a long process.
