Interview
I spoke with HR in February and was told I would hear back on next steps within a week. I finally heard back one month later that they wanted me to speak with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was not engaging as he was mostly looking to identify weaknesses.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Express (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
Applied thru Linkedin and a recruiter reached out 2 days later. We set up a phone screen which went great and just minutes afterwards, she set me up with 3 first round interviews. All 3 were a mix of behavioral/Amex based questions. Some questions were a bit thought provoking and tricky but nothing too crazy. Final interview with the VP felt like more of the same. All 4 interviews were in the same week, 2 back to back, 1 the next day and 1 the day after that
Waited 3 days after the final interview to reach out to the recruiter, she told me they'll have an update tomorrow . The next day is when they extended an offer. She gave me a day to think about it and after some negotiation, I accepted. Application to offer took ~3 weeks
