Submitted online application, invited to complete online psychometric assessment, after passing this completed online video interview and was contacted by email and phone a few weeks later with an invitation to the assessment centre which was 7 hours at the UK HQ in Brighton. The assessment centre consisted of 2 interviews a group assessment and an individual presentation. There was a lot of repetition of questions across the different interviews/tasks so I felt like I was repeating myself a lot which was a bit off-putting. The group assessment gave 10 minutes to read through 3 different scenarios and 25 minutes to discuss them and come to a group decision while being observed. The individual presentation task allowed 1 hour of preparation to read a lengthy case study information booklet and produce 3 flip chart sheets to then present to 2 interviewers for 10 minutes and be asked subsequent questions for 20 minutes. Again some of these questions were quite repetitive of the interviews already had during the day. Overall the day was very formal but a good experience, it wasn't too stressful and most of the people running/conducting the day were nice and not too intimidating. I did feel like the whole process somewhat lacked information regarding the actual contents of the 10 week internship. It was a bit vague and if I had been successful i'm not sure I would have accepted the internship.
