I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Express in Apr 2018
Interview
The interview process was a bit more detailed than I would have anticipated for an entry level role. There was a one on one interview with a recruiter. The next step is a group "meet and greet" with other interviewees conducted by a few leads (supervisors) and area reps. What I found disappointing was that an organization that bragged about their strength in the work from home venue would not vet what areas do not meet their technology needs. I was offered the job and the pay was actually better than expected. I completed drug testing, background checks, and all necessary paperwork to be informed that the internet options in the area were not acceptable! I provided my location and current provider before the first interview. This is poorly managed to offer a position and 2 weeks later rescind it because you did not do enough vetting in the beginning. Shame on you AmEx.
