I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Express (London, England) in Apr 2022
Interview
I was contacted regarding an application, the position was more senior than listed. The process itself was fine and was an initial call however at the end it was mentioned there would be significant interactions with US colleagues later in the day. This is not a problem as I already do this, however when I mentioned I had a child in nursery and had to pick them up between 5-6 there was an awkward silence and then a response of "of course Amex supports parents", never got a call back, to be honest I didn't want it anyway but the above was telling, hopefully useful information for anyone else applying.

Generic first stage interview questions, operational rather than technical
There were four total rounds: recruiter screen, hiring manager screen (behavioral), case and second behavioral round, and vp interview. All team members were very friendly and helpful. The case round was more of a live exercise rather than a full out case.

Tell me about a time you worked with a difficult stakeholder
There are four phases in the interview process: recruiter screening, interview with the hiring manager, conversation with one of team member (culture fit), interview with the VP of the department (one level above the hiring manager). All the people I’ve met were very friendly and respectful.
The first round was behavioral on HireVue. There were two videos and three writing questions. It was relatively easy. The videos were just one take but overall enough time and easy. It was a regular pre-screen.
