American Greetings Entry Level interview questions

Telephone interview for an entry level contract position. Was advised that I was overqualified for the position even though I had advised I was looking for a foot in the door. Follow-up calls and emails were sent to the employer; however, the company did not return calls with either a positive or negative response. Disappointed in the quality of the follow-up on the company.
