I was seeking a a job change from present job and received a phone call from a nice gal at AIL in Minneapolis. She said she would like to interview me for a manager position and asked me several questions over the phone which I nailed...but I couldn't recall ever applying or ever hearing about AIL. I shifted through my applications and resumes and still could not find applying to AIL. Anyways, the lady over the phone said she would like for me to come in for an in-person interview and I accepted. I arrived on time the next day and was asked to complete a sheet of paper with general info about what salary you want to earn and motivation related open-ended questions. I then interviewed with a gentleman that briefly scanned my resume and was a pretty smooth talker but very polite. After about 45 minutes, he said I would be shifted to the next interview immediately after. I told him I am interested but it would conflict with a meeting I had since I was already working but seeking to leave present job for a better paying opportunity. Had I know the length of this I would have been able to plan accordingly. He said that I would be contacted to come back and I was delighted. Long story short, I was never called back. I would have been great at the position too. I did however get a sales position with a manufacturing company after much rejection from so many employers. Continue to persevere as that was my only way I got the job.
