I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Red Cross in Nov 2016
Interview
Went to the hiring event. As soon as I signed in and sat down. They started pulling the candidates aside one by one to interview. The one-on-one interview lasted about 20 minutes or so. Most of the questions were from the company manual, but the manager asked a few questions about my past experiences on my resume as well as some other standard interview questions. After the interview, I was asked to fill out logistical information about my past employment history, etc. I was finished with the entire process within an hour. Later in the same day, I received an email offering me the position.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at American Red Cross (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
It was more about how you handle difficult situations/people. Different scenarios on how you respond and what steps you take to handle it and what was the outcome. Not really general interview questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time you solved a problem while everyone could not. How did you handle it?
easy and short, seemed like they were in a rush and wanted the process to end. They were friendly but there was alot going on. Gave me a tour and asked general questions.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at American Red Cross in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview was smooth, it was about a 15 minute interview. Correspondence on their side can be wobbly; they go through a recruiter before meeting with the center manager. I didn’t accept my offer and told the hiring recruiter, but no one else, so they kept trying to reach out to me to establish a start day.
