Prior to being asked to go into the office, I was called several times the Talent Acquisition Coordinator at random times throughout the week. She told me about the role, the company, and asked basic questions about myself.
When first arriving for the interview, the coordinator gave me a brief tour of the office. Then I sat in a small conference room with one of the hiring managers. Then I took a 36 question math test where NO calculators were allowed. It was basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals) but I am not quite sure calculators were not allowed?! After finishing that I was then interviewed by a second hiring manager. Each interview was about 20 minutes long but I was there for about 2 hours!!!
The actual interview was not super difficult, the questions asked were pretty basic. However, I was extremely disappointed with how they handled getting back to me. After interviewing I sent them a follow up email to the Coordinator, thanking her, telling her why I would be an asset to the company, and how interested I was in the job. She responded promptly and told me that I would be hearing back at the end of the week. Well, I did not hear back for nearly 2 weeks after my interview for an entry-level job. Her follow-up email was automated and extremely impersonal.
SIDE NOTE: This is a sales job, do not be fooled by having the title of "recruiter." You are expected to hit a certain amount of sales. It is not an overly warm office - it is very basic.
