I applied online through the Americare Website. I was contacted approximately one week later by one of their Regional HR Representatives for my first phone interview. I was asked basic question such as my availability, why I want to work for Americare, and the usual “About you” type things.
After my first phone interview, I was contacted by the next Regional HR Representative who called me to set up my in person interview after reviewing my initial phone interview.
Finally came my in person interview. I ended up interviewing at a different Americare Community than I applied for but this community had a Full Time position which I needed more so I was flexible. I did the first part of my in person interview with a nurse and a Personal Care Attendant. They again asked me the basic “About you” type questions. Afterwards, they asked me one interview question, which I will attach, and then told me about their community. I was taken on a tour and shown the various areas of their main building. Following this, I was taken next door to their memory care building where I would actually be working. I did a second interview with the nurse who manages memory care on the same day. She again asked me the basic “About you” type things, and asked me the same interview question that I will attach. Afterwards, I got a tour of the memory care building. We talked about salary expectations and typical things such as that afterwards and she told me to expect a response within the next week.
I received my Formal Offer via email, from the HR Representative who scheduled my interview, the Wednesday after my in person interview (less than a week later).
