      Senior Timing Engineer Interview

      Jun 18, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ampere Computing

      Interview

It was quick 1st round phone interview and was asked to come the same week for face to face. Face to face is confusing, had 3 rounds from 3 different departments focusing areas not related to timing. Later came to know they evaluate people for different departments though the position you applied is entirely different (not sure how its gonna work if other dept chooses you which is not your expertise or desired working area) They say its startup but they have intel mentality in approaching stuff, not sure if they gonna be innovative.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Detailed AOCV comparison for Setup/hold paths, systematic and random variations, OCV vs AOCV and random questions about DFT/LVS/DRC/FV from other departments
