I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amplify (New York, NY) in Feb 2012
Interview
The HR recruiter was very nice and quick to get back to me. The company was mid-way through starting a hiring freeze, so the process took longer than I would have liked. There were several rounds of interviews, and everyone was lovely to talk to. I like that they toured me around the office during the interview - it really cemented the fact that I wanted to work there. It was nice to have that confidence before the first day on the job.

Question 1
They asked about my views on education in America.
Recruiter screen, performance task, two rounds of interviews. The process is frustrating at best. Communication is lackluster. They signal messages of hope and that you'd hear back soon and then they never respond. If you directly signal that an interviewee will hear back soon you should follow through regardless of if the result is positive or negative.
Starts with 30 minute screening interview, then an hour-long hiring manager interview, then an hour-long panel interview, performance task estimated to take 3 hours (presentation and rubric creation), and then a final interview where they will discuss the performance task.
