Intro call with HR (behavioral), call with team member (high level), short technical assessment, and then comes the 3 hour gauntlet which is 4 sessions (Scenarios, Presentation on what you would do in a particular situation, making recommendations of a piece of software you know and how to improve it and lastly an exercise with amplitude charts so you know how to read a graph).
I thought I did well in all phases but I guess I was wrong.
Some advice: People who interview have lives and jobs and might be a good thing to break this final round into multiple days.
Also, doesn’t seem like this company is good with providing feedback to candidates on what they can improve on or any understanding on why they weren’t offered the role.
Don’t assume just because a candidate applies for a role that they understand all the lingo of your product. Sure it’s the candidates responsibility to do a bit of research but a good candidate should be able to learn on the job, like the majority of CS software based roles.
